Final Collection
‘Inside Out’, a journey discovering the link between the human anatomy and the Surrealism movement.
Taking inspiration from surreal; drawings, paintings, sculpture and fashion. As through these forms, artists such as Dali and Hans Bellmer reinterpreted the very idea of the human form.
Annie has used specific fabrics and textural pieces to reinforce the idea of how different parts of the human anatomy would feel and look if we were to wear them on the outside. While taking inspiration from the erotic, fetish nature of the Surrealists work, with pieces made out of latex and boned leather cages.
To contrast this sinister image Annie has used a colour palette that portrays an image of lightness and fun. All in all creating a collection that combines sophistication with quirk.
